Rainbow Rampage – Terms and ConditionsThis document has been prepared to let you understand what you sign up for. We expect all prospective participants to read it and mark the appropriate box on the sign up page when filling out the form.
Drivers
Each driver must be in possession of an international driving license. If you're a member of a team not driving during the rally you obviously don't need it.
Passengers
Any passengers that you wish to bring with you in your vehicle must be fully funded as a team member. All passengers must be at least 18 years of age and must abide by the restrictions for drivers if they are going to drive as well.
Descriptions
Information on the Rainbow Rampage contained within our website and/or brochures is correct at the time of publishing. However, the content or format of the event may change slightly until the rally commences. The Rainbow Rampage organization can accept no responsibility for unforeseen events in the course of the rally that fall beyond the remit of its competence and influence. No personal loss or injury will be accepted from events resulting in the application of information from this website.
Payment
Payment for the Rainbow Rampage is due in full upon sign-up. All payments are final and cannot be altered or substituted. Entrance fees may be refunded only if the rally is cancelled for any reason.
Teams
Teams may consist of one, two, three or four individuals.
Maintenance and Repair
Team members are solely responsible for any fuel costs, repairs, and any other costs associated with their event vehicle. Upon the instance of a breakdown, the teams will be responsible to procure the services of local mechanic since the organizers will provide no repair services en route.
Accommodation
The organizers and managers of the Rainbow Rampage will provide list of accommodation and lodging options for every night during the trip but will not arrange accommodations or boarding. Each team can decide freely where to spend the night according to their budget, but there will be a ‘base camp’ or hotel every day where the organizers can be found.
Sponsor Relations
Teams are required to respect the sponsors of the event and all sponsorship material presented during the course of the rally. Sponsorship material of the official sponsors of the Rainbow Rampage will be displayed on your team's car. Participants can request not to display any form of sponsorship material on their vehicle, but therefore will have to pay an additional €2000 with the entry fee. For further details please contact the organizers.
Local Interaction
As a team member in an international rally event, we strongly request to respect the various customs, traditions, and cultural differences that you may encounter at any point in your journey. Blatant disrespect for these customs, traditions, and cultural differences will result in the disqualification of the team from rally.
Dangers and contingencies
Please make yourself familiar with the potential dangers of a motor rally. You will experience problems you haven't planned in advance. The event is designed to be a pleasure cruise but the same concerns apply as with any unsupported motor rally.
But if you keep to the rules and drive/travel/behave with common sense, you'll probably be fine.
